As an Innovation & Business Manager, Philippe translates knowledge into tangible value. Fuelled by intellectual curiosity, his doctoral research in biological engineering focused on pioneering methods for probiotics encapsulation. He collaborated on scientific articles across the globe, from the University Federal do Rio de Janeiro to the University of Reading and New South Wales University. This global exposure has given him a deep appreciation for diversity and the ability to thrive in different cultural contexts.

At Primor Group, Philippe held pivotal roles as R&D Manager and Head. He spearheaded the development of innovative product families. Currently, Philippe is with Amyris, Inc., a renowned Californian synthetic biology biotech-based company. He manages projects from concept development to successful market launch. His strategic coordination ensures seamless collaboration between R&D facilities in Porto, production sites in São Paulo, and decision-making headquarters in San Francisco.
