Pedro is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in risk management within the telecom and fintech sectors. With an engineering background, his curiosity about how things work drives him to find efficient, scalable solutions to complex problems.

Since 2017, Pedro has been in Angola, where he led and developed the Risk Management team at UNITEL, the country's largest telecom company. In 2022, he embraced a new challenge, spearheading the design and implementation of the Risk and Compliance department at UNITEL Money, Angola's leading mobile money provider. Prior to his role in Angola, Pedro spent nine years with a top Portuguese telecom firm. There, he managed various projects, ranging from Business Continuity and Crisis Management to Information Security, Operational Risk, and Regulatory Compliance.
